Provisioning succeeds when the first steps are explicit
Setting up a halal crypto trading bot for the first time involves four distinct surfaces — your exchange, your bank or payment processor, our dashboard, and (occasionally) your tax software — and there are five or six steps where getting one detail wrong stalls everything for hours.
A printed-out checklist with timestamps and one-sentence rationale removes the common stalls. The onboarding checklist generator personalises it to your situation: skips KYC if you're already verified, skips exchange signup if you've been using it for years, adapts payment instructions to your chosen method, and surfaces the tier-specific drawdown acknowledgement only when you're taking Multi-X.

From zero to launch-safe provisioning
Supported exchange setup (~30 min)
Create an account on Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase, or Kraken; complete KYC; fund the account; and move funds to the spot wallet. The slowest steps are bank transfer settling and KYC review — both are out of our hands.
API key (~5 min)
Create a key with Read + Spot Trading enabled. Withdrawal must be unchecked. Keep the secret in your password manager until the authenticated support desk confirms the approved provisioning method.
Subscribe (~3 min)
Pick your tier, pay by card or crypto, confirm. Subscription is active immediately for card; crypto activates when the payment confirms on-chain.
Provision safely
Do not paste exchange secrets into an unwired form. Launch provisioning stays support-desk controlled until the encrypted vault and permission validator are active.
The five mistakes new users make
Funding the wrong wallet. Many exchanges separate Spot, Funding, Earn, and other wallet types. The bot trades only from the Spot wallet. New users routinely deposit into Funding and wonder why the bot isn't trading. Fix: open the Wallet menu and transfer everything to Spot.
Leaving Withdrawal enabled on the API key. We auto-reject any key with withdrawal enabled — this is designed to prevent loss, not to inconvenience you. If you see a rejection, go back to your exchange API settings, edit the key, untick withdrawals or transfers, and restart provisioning.
Subscribing before completing exchange KYC. You can subscribe first — but you can't activate the bot until KYC is approved (because spot trading is gated by your exchange). If KYC takes 24 hours, your first day's subscription is essentially paid before any trading begins. Recommend waiting until KYC is approved before subscribing.
Overriding the bot in week 1. The hardest week psychologically. You'll see trades you wouldn't have made and miss trades you would have. The strategy is evaluated on a multi-week horizon, so overriding individual trades can invalidate the risk controls. If you're uncomfortable, pause the bot and contact support before changing live positions.
Forgetting to update tax info. If you're in a VAT jurisdiction (Saudi, UAE, UK, Indonesia, Malaysia), your billing address determines the tax rate. Wrong address = wrong tax = potential refund hassle later. Set the address correctly at first checkout.

Does this checklist apply if I’m already on a supported exchange?+
Yes. Mark experience as ‘I’ve used an exchange before’ and KYC as ‘Approved’ — the checklist will collapse to the steps that matter for you: API key preparation, subscription, secure provisioning, and manual activation review.
How long does the whole thing take?+
From zero to provisioning-ready, roughly 90 minutes if your bank transfer settles instantly and KYC is fast. Activation is reviewed manually and depends on payment confirmation, permission checks, and signal alignment.
Can I print the checklist?+

What if I get stuck on a step?+

Is the API key step really safe?+
Yes — we request Read + Spot only. Withdrawal is structurally impossible because the key doesn’t carry the permission. If your key were stolen tomorrow, the worst an attacker could do is place spot orders within your exchange’s normal limits — they couldn’t move funds out of your account.
